AUTOMOTIVE Loudspeakers

Tweeter

Loudspeakers for high-frequency reproduction (typically from 2 kHz to 20 kHz). Small-sized loudspeakers suitable for various applications, from advanced and premium audio systems to infotainment such as assisted navigation and in-car communication.

Features:
  • Available in various sizes, with voice coils from 11mm to 32mm
  • Often equipped with 1st or 2nd order crossovers
  • Usually equipped with neodymium magnets
  • Dome membranes (Hard & Soft) in polycarbonate, metal, fabric, and silk

Center & Midrange

Loudspeakers for mid-frequency reproduction (typically from 100 Hz to 2 kHz). Essential for voice communication systems, infotainment, and driver assistance, providing clear and natural sound for voices and mid-range sounds.

Features:
  • Available in various sizes (diameter from 66 to 100 mm)
  • Different formats: round and racetrack (compact oval loudspeakers)
  • Can be equipped with neodymium or ferrite magnets
  • Suspensions in rubber, fabric, and foam
  • Membranes in cellulose pulp, fiberglass, and Kevlar

Woofer

Loudspeakers for mid/low frequency reproduction (typically from 40 Hz to 500 Hz). Used in a wide range of applications, they provide precise bass management, enhancing sound performance in the lower frequency range.

Features:
  • Available in various sizes (diameter from 120 to 220 mm)
  • Can be equipped with neodymium and ferrite magnets
  • Suspensions in rubber, fabric, and foam
  • Membranes in cellulose pulp, fiberglass, and Kevlar
  • Easy integration in all vehicles (typically installed in doors)

Full-Range

Loudspeakers suitable for wide frequency range reproduction (typically from 100 Hz to 20 kHz). Ideal for compact audio systems, they deliver clear and balanced sound without the need for multiple separate loudspeakers.

Features:
  • Available in various sizes (diameter from 80 to 160 mm)
  • Can be equipped with neodymium and ferrite magnets
  • Suspensions in rubber, fabric, and foam
  • Membranes in paper pulp, fiberglass, and Kevlar
  • Easy integration in all vehicles (typically installed in doors)

Subwoofer

Loudspeakers designed for extremely low-frequency reproduction (typically from 20 Hz to 100 Hz). These types of sounds are more perceived as vibrations than distinct sounds. Their function is to complete the bass range, making deep and powerful bass sounds.

Features:
  • Available in a wide range of sizes for various application needs
  • Installed in both vented boxes (Bass Reflex) and sealed boxes (Sealed)
  • Specifically designed to fit the vehicle's specifications
  • Available in both active (electronics co-developed with partners) and passive solutions

FAS & FAW

FAS (Fresh Air Subwoofer) and FAW (Fresh Air Woofer) are loudspeakers for low-frequency reproduction. Using the vehicle's cabin as an acoustic enclosure, the "Fresh Air" technology significantly reduces the space occupied by the transducers, ensuring high-level sound performance.

Features:
  • Deep bass in limited spaces using the cabin as an acoustic enclosure
  • Greater low-frequency extension while maintaining high sensitivity
  • Elimination of enclosure space requirements for the audio box
  • Easy integration in the vehicle thanks to the compact design

AVAS & VSG

The AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System) and VSG (Vehicle Sound Generator) technologies are used in electric and hybrid vehicles to emit sounds outside the vehicle, allowing pedestrians to detect the presence of the vehicle even at low speeds.

Features:
  • Products compliant with the UN/ECE regulation no. 28 for acoustic warning devices
  • High resistance to environmental agents (water, mud, and chemicals)
  • Optimized geometry via FEM analysis for improved system efficiency
  • Also available with integrated horn (HAVAS) for high-intensity sound alerts.

eCall

Loudspeakers for eCall applications are optimized for clear and precise voice reproduction. They are essential for ensuring intelligible communication between the vehicle and emergency centers in case of an accident, even in stressful or noisy environments.

Features:
  • Optimized performance for clear communication even in noisy environments
  • Designed to withstand dust, humidity, vibrations, and extreme temperatures
  • Compact design for efficient vehicle integration
  • Low distortion and high sensitivity for clear sound even at high volumes
